great access to parks and historic sites for city walking

I had a fantastic time exploring Tallahassee, especially with the DeSoto Site Historic State Park just 600 meters away, which made my walks through the lush greenery all the more enjoyable, and it was also only about a 1.5 km walk to the Museum of Florida History, where I was able to immerse myself in local culture after a day of wandering the city. while the room was decent for a short stay, the hotel could improve by ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and in good condition.

Honestly, the room was a bit of a mess. No pillows, one bed didn’t even have a blanket, and there weren’t any towels. The drawers were filthy and broken. It felt really neglected. On the upside, the staff was super nice and immediately got me into another room when I complained. The new room was slightly better but still not great. At least the location was convenient, close to everything!

Location near the Capitol makes it easy to explore local attractions. The overall layout of the room accommodates basic needs, including a kitchenette setup, albeit quite minimal.

Check-in felt sketchy, dealing through a bulletproof window and a locked lobby. Noise from other guests was a constant annoyance, with thin walls allowing sounds of partying and shouting to come through loud and clear. Rooms showed signs of neglect. one had clogs in the toilet and smells lingering in the air. Also, the kitchenette lacked any real amenities, with broken knobs and no dishes in sight. The lack of basic services like ice availability adds to the unhygienic feel.

The place was clean and the facilities worked well. Plus, I felt so taken care of. it was a breeze!

I had a comfortable night here with clean sheets and a surprisingly quiet room, which made for a great sleep. The outdoor pool looked inviting for a chill day under the sun, but I found out it was unfortunately closed during my stay. The only bummer was a bit of dust in the corners which didn’t really take away from my experience. 😊

Had a delightful stay in the King Room. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the coffee was a pleasant surprise! Although there were minor issues with the room, the welcoming atmosphere made our short visit enjoyable. Just a short drive to local attractions, perfect for families on the go.

We had a great time during our group getaway! The location is perfect for hanging out and we enjoyed a fantastic night out at Capital City Amphitheater. The staff was friendly, and our room was clean, giving us a comfy place to crash after our adventures. Just keep in mind this is a budget spot, so manage your expectations and you'll be fine!
